The 2025 Marketing, PR & Development Council Conference, held in Austin, TX, from March 23–26, once again proved to be one of the most energizing and inspiring events in the credit union calendar, and Prisma Campaigns was proud to be a part of it.
Bringing together hundreds of marketing, PR, and business development professionals, this year’s event was a powerful reminder of what makes the credit union movement so unique: a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and member-first growth.
In this article, we recap some of the events' highlights and what impacted us most.
Hosted by America’s Credit Unions, the conference offered a packed agenda filled with dynamic breakout sessions, thought-provoking keynotes, and practical case studies. Topics spanned everything from marketing automation and data-driven strategies to branding, storytelling, and member experience.
Speakers like Courtney Clark, Beth Z, James T. Robilotta, and Erik Wahl brought fresh energy to the stage, diving into themes like resilience, authenticity, creative thinking, and innovation- all core ingredients for meaningful member engagement.
We came away inspired by the openness of the attendees: the way they shared challenges, explored new ideas, and embraced technology to amplify their impact.
A highlight of the event was the Diamond Awards ceremony, recognizing excellence in credit union marketing. We were thrilled to cheer on several of our clients and industry friends as they were honored for their outstanding work in campaign design, storytelling, and branding.
At the Prisma Campaigns booth, we had the pleasure of engaging with marketing leaders, CMOs, and business development teams from across the country. The conversations were rich, focused, and remarkably consistent: credit unions are looking to simplify execution, personalize engagement, and deliver value across every touchpoint.
Many expressed interest in making their teams more agile and efficient through automation, looking for ways to scale their marketing efforts without losing the personal touch that defines the credit union difference.
Beyond the demos and discussions, it was truly a joy to reconnect with clients and friends. We shared ideas, laughed, and left with a renewed sense of motivation for what’s ahead.
The 2025 MPRD Conference reaffirmed everything we believe at Prisma: that credit unions, with the right tools and a human-first approach, are uniquely positioned to build deeper, more personal relationships with their members.
We left Austin feeling energized, encouraged, and excited about what’s next. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth, or simply said hello. We’re already looking forward to next year!
